competition - sunflowers

any one up for a friendly competition to see who can grow the tallest sunflower?

Rules.

sunflower must be grown from seed

entrants to take / post picture of where sunflower is to grow (so we can see no sunflower there now)

feed it with what you like

Winner to be tallest flower measured from grond llevel to highest point of flower edge.

singing "vitalite" is allowed

No artificial flowers.

as many entrants flowers as you like, but must be in your garden.

No upper or lower age limit.

enter any time between now and end of May


I will plant my entry this week end.

no cheating, what so ever.

this is meant as a fun contest,

little girls (and boys) are more than welcome to enter, if mummy / daddy helps, but little boy or girl must plant the seeds.

mums / dads must plant their own sunflower seeds if they want to enter.

my 3 year old daughter accepts your challenge. Can it be grown on my allotment?

well we planted ours today.......and then my three year old promptly dug them back up when my back was turned! :LOL:
