Wet Room Removal

Hi there,

I have a down stairs shower and toilet which is in close proximity to the

kitchen, the missus (god bless her) wants to keep the toilet but get rid of

the shower, not a prob tiles are gone, shower and associated pipework

is gone but my question is, what do i do about the hole in the floor

which obviously leads to the manhole outside ???

Can i just fill this with concrete or is there something else i need to do

to seal it ???

the sensible thing to do would be to chop out the waste and trap, bung the waste pipe and fill with concrete.

or just bung the waste and level over with what ever it will tolerate, i.e. thickness wise.

i thought it would be a good idea to keep it if the sink overflows
