Hi everyone, my first time here. Question, will a single 45amp double switch be enough to control an Induction hob and a Self cleaning oven. I have been told that it is ok and have also been told they should be on seperate switches. I understand from the 2 installation books that they take a max of 16amps each.

cheers John

IF your figures are correct,

16 x 2 = 32 < 45 = :D

BUT 16A seems less than I would expect an electric hob to use.

Can you find us the actual ratings of both appliances.

Personally I would want to see a seperate isolator for each appliance.

Hello, I have scanned both pamphlets with what I think is the relevant information. I don't however have the computer skills to attach the image to this reply, do you have an e-mail address that I can send it on. My e-mail is [email protected].

thank you John[/img]
