new rad cold at bottom

I\\\'ve just fitted a new radiator in the lounge. When the rad starts to heat up it heats up at the top first and then the bottom. Is this normal because the other rads heat at the bottom and then the top. Does it make a difference which way up a radiator is fitted.

well i would assume the laws of physics rule heat rises
so if the top heats up first you have a full up radiator with slow flow

if it starts at the bottom maybe some air at the top
with fast flowing water

try bleeding the other radiators
