Hi, I had to change a rad valve due to a crack. I drained down the system, replaced the valve opened the bleed valves and filled up the system. Once filled then switched on the hw & ch the boiler then fired up. Approx 3 hours later the hw was only luke warm when it used to be boiling hot. The next morning there was no hw or ch and the boiler pilot light had gone out. Is this something I did wrong?? thanks

you could try telling us what boiler you have for a starters.in general it could be an air lock

Sounds like a overheating problem, possibly due to an airlock or lack of circulation.
