METAL CAPPING ?

I have got alot of capping to do in my new extension prior to it being plastered. The only trouble is I have difficulty getting the masonry nails to fix into the brickwork.I only manage to get 2or3 out of every ten to fix. Is there an easier way to fix the capping ?

Pre-drill half way into the brickwork with a masonary drill bit slightly thinner than the nail dia ??? Get a good quality masonary drill bit as they're some rubbish one out there. Also make sure they are masonary nails and not cut nails etc........

You can hire a masonary nail gun which is quite powerful but can be dangerous if you got so many to do.
