HELP!!  We need to replace our flat roof. Can anyone advise us if a green mineral finish is better than capping with gritting solution and white limestone chippings?? What is the main difference in these methods? Thanks! |

The idea of chipping is to break down the rain into fine mist and fire resistance and help slighty for sound insulation depending the thickness of it.
If you can, best to have a low pitch roof with tiles for long term trouble free maintenance. |

Limestone chippings also help to reflect the sun helping to protect your felt.Though this is not quite so important nowadays with the modern roofing felts |
