The amount of glare & heat transfer will be horrendous though, especially if south facing! If it's a new cons, I would go a lot thicker than 25mm; you can get up to 50mm now, much better at reducing heat loss!

Agreed; if the lady want's to “see the stars”, she needs a glass roof but that will basically turn the cons. into a greenhouse during the day!
