I have a flat with a small front hallway, so, what was the old front door is now an internal door.
I have rubbed this down and it now looks good but I need to replace the glass in the panels (scratched and broken). It has been put in with putty.
A colleague mentioned that I could just smash out the glass and use sealant to hold the new glass in, then glue beading around it on one side. Does this sound right to you? Sorry - I can't seem to find anything on this when I searched DIY sites.
Thanks loads

You can fit the glass with clear silicone, but you still need beading to physically hold it in

Remember that the glass must be safety glass - either laminated, toughened or Georgian wired
