Fitting Electric in sheds

I have a small shed which is about 5m away from my house and would like to fit one double socket and one 4ft strip lamp in it.

I have a fairly good idea of what to use and how to go about it but thought i'd ask you experts first for advise, i'm disabled so it would be nice if i could get away without running a new cable from my consumer unit (i have problems getting up and down ladders).

I know sheds are far from ideal but it's all i have to play in!
