Laying a curved path

Hello chaps, this is my first post, and hopefully you will be able to help me out. I am laying a garden path using 18" square slabs, I have laid similar before and have no problem with getting them level etc, my problem is this, I want to put a radius in the path ie. a quarter of a circle to join to straight paths at 90 degrees to each other. However they don't make radius slabs! Is it best to "fan" them out and make triangle shaped gaps or is there a way of marking them out so I can cut them. The path will be 2 slabs wide making marking them out more complicated (for my little brain). I hope this makes sense and does anyone know how to get round this.......pardon the pun

if you are running it as a uniform path, ie two slabs wide the whole way with uniform layout, then it looks better to fan them. alternatively you can use 24" slabs and mark them to produce a curved cut on them. It just depends on how you want the finished thing to look.

It depends a lot on the radius really. If it's tight you may struggle to to get a nice curve without cutting an internal and external arc... external are easy enough but internal curves on a small radius can be a pain. In the past, I've laid small radius curves in a 900mm-1200mm path using something like Marshalls Tegula Deco to make the curve. It also adds a bit of variation...especially if you border the path using the same paviors.
