basement is getting filled with water

can i ask my water question on here because it is the same thing.

my neighbours basement is getting filled with water. he has had his drain rodded and it goes onto my land 3m's and then stops. we are in a terrace on a hill and i am at the bottom. my basement is also getting wet.

i am going to have a proper look tomorrow. could it be his pipes are cracked. if they are cracked on my land does that make it my responsibility.

I cant see how his pipes are on your land. Thames water might be responsible they might be shared .The pipes on your property are yours.
