height of radiators off the floor

Hi all

As the tittle really. I'm just installing some new rads downstairs.

Just wondering what the air gap should be below the rads?

The same height as the others is best.

at least 4" min.
depending on the size skirting you have
how high the others are in that room
how tall the rad is don't want it sitting to high or low

Skirting is 4" I'm working on 6" for the rads

if your having your rads 6" from floor
remember your rad brackets will want to be about 6" from top of skirting

150mm is the recommened height off the floor but remember to hang the bracket higher! eg if you want rad 150mm off floor, put bracket on rad and measure distance from bottom of bracket to bottom of rad and add this distance to the 150mm.
