The problem is with the boiler that will not seem to kick start and heat the water. The pilot light is lit and there is power within the boiler however it will not ignite to perform the task of heating the water. Any suggestions on what to do?

could be a lot of things, clock, zone valve if you have one, boiler stat, gas valve solenoid.

you wont get many answers here, too many folk are scared of invisible policemen looking for offences corgi couldnt give a **** about. no doubt this post will disappear too.

Your boiler is a very simple one!

If the power is applied then the boiler will fire up if everything else is correctly set and functioning.

You could check that the gas valve knob is rotated to the correct operating position and pulled fully out.

Apart from that it would seem as if you are going to need to get a CORGi to diagnose the problem.

are you sure the power coming in is from a switched live, some bbus have a permanant live that goes to the fire!
