We have just built our house with new casement windows. The problem is that rooks have systematically pecked and removed the sealant between the glass and the frame. What can I do to stop this other than spend all day chasing them away?

I have read on the web that applying certain substances around the frames can deter the blighters. Have you tried different makes of sealant?
