What is the correct size that your main tails from your main box to your electrical meter supposed to be.In my house they are 16mm but in most shops they sell 25mm. |

16mm is fine for your house, you most likely have a 60A or a 80A main fuse, if you needed to have more power, then you would have to speak to the electricity company about having your fuse uprated to 100A, only then would you need 25mm tails. |

I would use 25mm tails, at least then when/if you upgrade your supply main fuse the job is already done. __________________ 1010011010 |

Yea, I always install 25tails, 16earth.
BUT don't worry too much if your tails are 16mm with a 10mm earth, as said before, most services are fused at 60 or 80amp, even though it says 100amp on the carrier (this is the maximum current, not size of the fitted fuse.) |
