I have moved into a house with a smoke alarm fitted which is faulty (going off at all times even after cleaning) the only information I have is that the model is SMK 839 would you know of the supplier name so I can contact them

Tell us more - Mains, battery, interlinked, part of a fire detecton system?

Probably worth buying a new one, Try Screwfix, they have lots of new smoke alarms |

as the last post said it would be easier and less hassle to get a new one, whicj=h is probably what the manufacturer would suggest, besides that may be a part number for a foreign made product, do you speak chinese? |
