im going to put a porch on the front of my house. i,ve dug the footing out about 2' 6" down to some good clay. rang my local supplier told him what i was doing he,s sent me some BBplant mix and concrete can anyone tell me what the best mix is. also theres a yellow gas pipe is it alright to concrete this in. thanks paul.

you will need to put a lintel over the pipe so it cant be crushed by the weight of the building dig hole slightly deeper either side pour in two small concrete pads left and right of the pipe then place lintels on these,then pour yor footing over that
