I write concerning the Crabtree 45A cooker type connection outlet plates.
As I suspected, a quick call to electrium confirmed that their 45A connection plate will only accept a 10mm2 feed and 6mm2 lead to the cooker.
How on earth can they claim that this is a 45A outlet plate.
Even with 1x 10mm2 and 1x 6mm2 in each terminal, when trying to get the correct tightness the screw cross threads itself.
Other manufacturers cooker outlet plates are much much better! Loads of room for connections.
Is there issues with compliance to British Standard for crabtree/electrium here?
