Tarmac drive

Hello,

I have a tarmac drive and I'd like to make it look better without having to lift it.
I am considering artificial turf but not sure how to install it, would I need a base like sand etc etc.

Also are there any "edging" bricks that would look decent on a tarmac drive as a boundary to an artificial grass area?

You could get a pikee to asphalt over it.

for the edge of your tarmac i`d use red blocks that are used for block paving, not too sure about the artifical turf how about some chippings.
