SIEMENS 322 3 PORT VALVE ?

Can't see from the first two pics if you have the complete valve or just the actuator.

If it is the actuator, it is the replacement for your existing actuator.
If it is the complete valve it is the replacement for your current valve.

thanks for such a quick reply, its the complete valve, i asked the question because i ordered the 'MA-V322C' & the 'CMV322' turned up.the manual lever on the old valve is on the opposite side to the new one so it will be facing the tank.
My old valve will not move to the mid position when i turn the heating on,i took the actuator off and tried to move the plastic lever but it snapped because it was seized so i assume the valve is at fault, thats why i want to replace it, am i correct?

No it isn't.

The valve bodies are the same, but the MA is a mid position valve, whereas the DA will allow an equal flow to both ports, E>G>port A or B

The old valve clearly says: 3-port diverter valve with mid position.
The new valve says: mid position.

Are you saying one is a diverter and the other is a mid-position because, if you are, that does not agree with what is written on the valves.

Not sure what I'm saying at the moment :oops:

The DVA3 is not suitable, whereas the CMV 322 is :confused:

Don't go away.

For C Range motorised valves
E.g.
MA-V322C
MA-V328C
ZA-V222C
ZA-V228/6C
DA-V322C
Boss Therm BZV22
Boss Therm BZV28
Boss Therm BMPV22
Boss Therm BMPV28
Please note for models branded Landis & Gyr, Landis & Steafa and Siemens:
If your valve model does not have a C at the end it has a fixed head, and the whole valve (or synchronous motor) will need to be changed. Please email-us for the recommended replacement.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
DVA3
Replacement Actuator for Siemens CMV322 or CMV328 motorised valves.
Not suitable for motorised valves with other model numbers.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
CMV 322
* Removable, replaceable head.
* 3 Port 22mm Mid-Position
* Replaceable Motor
* Wedge Type Actuator
* Spring Return Operation
* Manual Lever for Flushing or Filling the System
Direct Swap (Same wiring, dimensions and thread) for:
Landis & Gyr / Landis & Staefa / Siemens MAV-322, MA-V322C, 3PMP-V22
Boss Therm B3P22, BMPV22
Tower MP3-22C

So it depends if its a DVA 3 or a CMV 322, both are on the case. :confused:

I'm confused :oops:

I think the confusion is because the Actuator Part No is in bigger type than the complete valve's part no.

But as the OP has bought the complete valve, I can't see anything wrong.

so is it a direct replacement for the MA-V322c?

the MA-V322c has a black plastic lever which moves between ' W M H' & a metal lever which moves between 'manual - open'.

the CMV322 only has a metal lever which moves between 'auto - manual'.

i dont want to fit the wrong valve :confused:

The valve body is the same for either.
Agreed.

The Siemens 3-port diverter valve is part no DAV-322 or DA-V322C. The OP's new valve is marked MA (Mid position)..

I do hope the OP is not getting bored ;)

Just change the valve :)

Yes, go for it, Remember to keep the A & B in the same order
