I want to fit a mixer shower to add to bath plumbing (over bath). The mixer shower like most fixes using copper pipe as the supports. Is there any other method to fix from the face of the shower mounting, or special fixings?
Otherwise I will have to rip apart a plyboard wall, fix noggins and make a terrible mess!

Thanks

the pipework don't support the mixer it has fixings on a backing plate that the mixer fixes

Don't follow you there? I can't see any other fix points to the wall itself, rather it seems to tighten up and "pull" against the hidden pipework? It then has chrome covers to hide the holes.

you must be talking about a bar mixer

Thats right, hot and cold feeds to a central mixer bar!
I don't have this wall behind my shower (just a void), but this product is trying solve my problem! My plyboard wall is strong enough to take a plate of some sort, but I don't know what to look for?
