I have only just discovered that in the course of installing fencing our landscapers amputated the drain which extends from the rone pipe at the corner of the house, to the rodding point, a distance of about 10ft.
(I assume at the furthest point by the rodding point there is a soak-away to disperse rainwater from the guttering).
Our landscaper has since made himself scarce.
If the pipe still reaches the soakaway and all they've removed is the rodding point then not too big a deal.
But if the underground pipe has been truncated right beside the building, how serious a problem might this be for the foundations etc if the rainwater is now discharging in to the earth immediately beside the building?
Roughly what cost to get a builder(?) to reinstate the pipe + rodding point at my own expense?
Any advice appreciated.
