Hi, I know I might be asking "how long is a piece of string" but, I want to replace my old wooden door with a new uvpc front door. Trouble is I have no idea what I should be paying. So any of you fitters can give me a price.

I would say you will be looking at £500 to £700 fitted by a local dg company

you can get a upvc door for about £200, depending on profile and locking system, expect to pay between £450-£700. If you are unsure about measuring for your door ask again

Have you looked into composite doors at all as opposed to uPVC?

I may be biased, but there's something to be said for a door that can withstand 30kg balls swung into it.
