Hi,
I built a brick gully surround, (engineering bricks, 1:3 cement:sand as the mortar)
left for 1 day 1 night to dry, put on kitchen taps to see if the water doesn't splash out of surround and goes down gully and the mortar is soaking up the water???? its following up in between the bricks like its a sponge
what have I done wrong? can i waterproof render over bricks to protect it??
