Isar ideal he35 boiler central heating constantly running

hi i have a problem with my central heating i have a ideal he35 combi boiler controlled by a PT Plus programmer.
Once the heating is switched on it will not turn off
The fault is that c is constantly displayed and the burner light is continuously flashing
please help its driving me mad

C isnt a fault, thats the boier user control panel telling you there'a a demand for heating. C heating, D hot water. T hot water pre-heat. I'd say either faulty timer, room stat or your diverter is sticking

C is central heating is on but burner light is flashing
room stat is set at 7 dgrees and house temp is displayed at 21 degrees
but it is still wanting to run as the pump is continously running is there anyway of checking the stat as its battery powered would cleaning the stat help or changing the batteries might help

Burner light flashing is saying boiler is up to temp but there is still a demand from the external controller.
