i am getting no hot water or heating...the boiler fires up until it reaches temp but then nothing...ive checked the boiler & the central heating pump dosnt seem to be working....ive replaced this and its still not pumping....the pressure gauge is reading 1 bar so no pressure loss...has anyone got any ideas?

are you sure its a combi? last firebird combi I worked on had two pumps? a while ago though.

when heating is on...nothing happens instantly...but if left on...heating will pump speradically..ie if i left heating on all day the water may pump around the system twice in that day...each time lasting about 5 mins...
