I have had wooden bay windows replaced with UPVC and have had several problems with the installers including not installing toughened glass where required. I am now wondering whether they have added the required support to the bay windows that they installed.
I was only able to see parts of the installation and did not see them when the bays were being installed.
How can I find out whether they have added the correct support?

if the windows are fitted correctly the support should continue right through the pvcu cill if fitted, usually by a jack you could try removing some sealant or mortar on the joint of the pole under the cill, and looking for this it all depends what load bearing the poles have ie brickwork above, just a canopy for the single bay .
