The water level is to high causing leakage around door seal. Where do I find the water level gauge/sensor and is it adjustable or does it require replacement?

cant speak for your brand, but it is one of 2 things

pressure chamber blocked

pressure switch faulty

the pressure chamber is on the side or the front of the outer drum (front on a creda creda, side on a hotpoint)

depends on age / design as to what it looks like, new hp it looks and is commonly called a bananaa

but it could be any shape really, its basicaly a "bottle" that gets filled as the m/c fills, the air inside it gets compressed operating the the pressure switch.

they do get clogged with soap powder if you use an own brand. one that begins with a z i found was the worst

you need to unplug m/c and take it apart to find it, remove it clean it put it back (and hope it doesnt leak)

to geat the "bottle" as it is called. SWITCH OFF AND REMOVE MAINS PLUG FROM WALL SOCKET. First remove the kick plate from the bottom of the machine. Then remove the spring around the door deal where it joins the door.and pull the seaal away from the metalwork. Remove the 2 screws holding the door catch. remove the 3 screws from the botom edge of the front panel. the front is then removed in a downwards direction and then sraight off the machine. You will then be able to remove the bottle and clean out any gunk. Make sure the thin rubber pipe is also clear. To check the action of the level "pressostat" remove the tube from the bottle and blow into it . You should hear a click from the unit and another one when you let the air back out again.
When reassembling make sure you get the spring in the right place or the door seal WILL leak.

The machine is an intrgrated modal ADP 259 . Is the bottle in the door or under the machine and available when door is removed?

Not sure on that machine... must be a newish one.. usually at the front bottom of tub..Also check VERY carefully for pin holes in the rubber tube from the bottle to the pressure switch.
