Hi
I'm looking for a solution to a problem I have:-
My house is a listed building and the conservation officer was against me having double glazing. I've had a new single glazed window fitted to my bedroom but there's a draft that comes through when it's windy.
Is there any product that can be fitted on the inside of the window to create a cavity insulation?

Any advice is much appreciated
thanks
Tim

Secondary glazing if your BCI will allow it; it used to be the rage in the late 60's/70's. I removed a whole house load of the stuff from the 1968 property I’m renovating & skipped it 2 years ago! It’s largely been superseded by the DG industry but I believe there are still one or 2 specialist companies around that will/can do it in cases like yours.

I have recently fitted secondary in a listed house, we get ours from granada look the up they have a website, it is a nice product

I wonder .... if the double glazed unit looked no different in the frame from the outside, then how would anybody know the difference?

It could always be changed back to single glazed if need be at some future date
