i have just finished hacking off all the old mortar from downstairs. i have a guy coming monday to damp proof.
do i need a scratch coat first or can i just paint it with pva glue and dab it straight to the brick.
oh! and £200 for the damp proof is that a good price including a certificate

£200 for the damp proofing, including a certificate, is that a good price/deal? Mmm...Depends what you're getting done . Seems too good to be true in my opinion. Could be a bargain,,,, or a waste of money for a worthless piece of paper...... I think you would normally pay a lot more than £200 for this kind of work. Others, more qualified on the subject, will have their opinions.
