Radiator Flow and Return Sides

Hello just wanted to confirm that if you're not using Thermo Rad Valves or using Thermo Rad Valves which don't need to be on a certain side then it doesn't matter which side the flow and return are connected does it and the valves on each side are the same aren't they?

You will still have a lockshield and wheelhead valve.

I would always prefer, where possible, to have the lockshield on the return, but many will say it will not make much difference.

Thanks for the superquick reply Mr Gas so it doesn't matter which side the flow and return are piped but what is this wheelhead it's the first I've heard of that I thought the valves on each side are the same (lockshield)?

wheelhead= plastic turny knob. hopefully on flow.

lockshield= plastic cap. used for balancing.hopefully on return.
