Internal W.C overflow pipe

I've heard you can convert the internal working of a WC with an external overflow pipe so the overflow pipe works internally.

Do they do such a thing and if so.........
is it fairly easy to convert and
how much would it cost approx.

£10 - £20 for the part and £30 to a new bathroom for the labour.
