instaling the thermostat

i installed the heater system but i cant instal the thermostat how does it work, or how do i conect the thermostat to the heater

I believe it depends on what type of heating system you have.
Don't know about closed system (combi boiler) but the the open type system the stat is wired in series with the pump.

The live wire of the pump goes to the stat (instead of the pump) and the other side of the stat goes to goes to where the wire was that you removed from the pump.
