Glow Worm Micron advice please

hi there, i have a Glow Worm Micron bolier and just today the thing will not fire up..I have checked the fuses and it has power going to the unit and to the water/heating control panel. I have turned the bolier switch to off and waited an hour and then turned the water and heating to on and then turned the boiler switch to on and no joy - the boiler will not fire up.
Any of you guys know why the boiler is not firing up?

Has it got power at the boiler on the permanent live and switched live though?

I've got a micron 50ff and I had the PCB go on it. I knew it was the boiler PCB as it's located in our utility and the room stank of burnt electronic components.

If it is the PCB that's gone, then you need to change the thermistor at the same time as these fail and tend to take out the PCB with them.

You can get some cheap genuine PCB's off ebay, which is where I got mine from. I got the thermistor from my local Plumb Center.

Easy job to do and saved me a fortune getting a heating engineer out.
