I am currently having a new extension built at my house.

I ordered a new back door and it turns out it is too wide, and the Building Control officer will not allow it to be fitted unless some supports are added above due to the extra width of the door reducing the brick pier next to it.

So I am now in possession of a back door which I no longer need and am looking to sell it.

My question is does anyone know of any good places to advertise said door (other than EBAY)?

or

Does anyone want to buy said back door (can provide all details)?

Cheers

I will hold my hands up for this one!

The blame falls squarely at my feet, unfortunately.

Has there been a structural engineer involved in the project at any point. If so have a quick check with him as the reduced brick pier may be sufficient to take the load above anyway(most are over engineered anyway)
