builder, engineer surveyor.....

a builder, an engineer and a surveyor are all on site and generally grumbling at each other on the second floor of a soon-to-be-demolished town house.

the building prematurely collapses and all three are killed.

the builder being an honest chappie goes direct to heaven.

the other two can be admitted but only after serving their penance.

the surveyor is to be chained to an old moaning hag for a period of 1 year. "ho hum" says the engineer, "a small price to pay for all the wrong decisions i've made".

he then sees the surveyor chained to Kate Beckinsale and says to God, "how come he is chained to a beautiful woman and i'm here with this old crow? he has done a lot worse things than me."

God replies, "you do your penance and let Kate do hers".
