hi there i need help with a myson 800 kickspace plinth heater.
It has been plumbed into the central heating and has been working perfeclty for over a year now, but i noticed over the past two days it is not turning off automatically when our combi boiler turns on and off, we has a stat in the kitchen connected to our central heating system and the c/h combi turns on and off according to the temp on the stat thus turning the myson on and off at the same time, but the fan just stays on and blows hot air when the c/h is on and cold air when the combi is off?

why would this happen now?

we have not changed or altered any of the rds or touched the myson or heating system in any way/?

any advice on this would be appreciated thanks

Sure you've not altererd the summer/winter switch on your kickspace.

Its the the one above the fan speed switch. Try changing its setting when cold and the fan should stop.

Kickspace fan runs off of pipestat so if the piework to it is above 40degs (from memory) fan will run but doesnt mean the boiler will be firing.

Yes, the stat in the heater may be faulty, or fan is switched to winter.
