We're currently living under duvets as our Potterton has stopped working. The mains light went out a couple of days ago and, as I have now learnt, when that doesn't work it seems you get no heat at all. The pilot light fires without a problem though. We've replaced the fuse in the plug but still now't. Having just moved in to our first home we are pretty skint, so are trying to avoid the expense of a plumber. However, I'm starting to get the feeling we don't really have any other options. Any suggestions would be really welcome!

One that comes on when the system pressure is low, and on a Puma or Ideal response is likely to stay on when you fillerup again because they fill up with grot.

Woanelpyeron a Response! Yes the puma one you can just unplug - RIDDOR reportable offence of course, interfering with a safety device
