Less than 12 months ago we bought a new house with a boiler in the kitchen and a BoilerMate OV A Class in the airing cupboard.
This evening I noticed the radiators were not on - I went to look in the airing cupboard and the red light was flashing - according to the little sticker on the label it is an overheating safety switch - which I guess is self explanatory - but will this problem rectify itself now i have switched the boiler off? Or is it something that is going to have to be repaired?
A 3rd question is - if it is a repair job and we have been in the house only 10 months would the building company come and rectify the problem like they do for any other issues we have in the house?

   sorry.

try resetting the overheat as per your instructions. maybe justa one off but of it persists you'll need someone to sort it.

Thanks for this - I reset it last night which did the trick for about an hour - so I reset it again before I went to bed and it appeard to be working fine this morning but we shall see.

Does anyone know what causes this problem?
