i have a baxi duo-tech, recently my RCD has been tripping and ive narrowed it down to the boiler. ive taken the PCB cover off today and found a cable which looks to me has come loose from somewhere, i think i can see where it is ment to go but im not sure exactly how its ment to go as there is a couple of ways it could be connected. the reason i thing the RCD is tripping is because this lead has been touching down somewhere on the PCD to give an earth fault on the RCD. ive posted some pics of the cable and where i think it needs connecting.

maybe this cable was never connected but just seems strange to have it there, 1 end connected and the other lying near to where i think it should go.

ive looked long and hard on the Web for any images of this PCB so i can see if the cable is connected with no luck so hopefully someone can point me in the right direction.

by the way the boiler works fine without the lead connected, but i just think it is there for a reason and it should be connected.

any help is much appreciated.
cheers Dave
