I have a Potterton Puma 80 and the pilot light has started going out. Sometimes it stays lit for a few minutes, sometimes a couple of days. The water pressure is fine, there are no warning lights, no funny noises, any ideas please?

Do you ever find that the radiators get hot when they shouldn't? If the HW flow sensing switch stick that happens untik the thing overheats and turns the pilot off.

If not, it's probably just a bit of muck in the pilot jet, and/or a tired thermocouple. Corgi job to play with that.

Thanks very much for that - I don't think it's the first one.

Anyone you can recommend in SE London? Dulwich area.

Cheers

Look, Sutton or Dulwich, make up your mind. Maybe John CroydonCorgi?
