Hi,

I have lifted all of my decking and this is what it looks like now:

I'd like to put some gravel over it. My plan is to put some gravel boards round the perimeter and then fill with gravel over the existing slabs.
I am keen on doing this but i'd like some advice on the following:

a) securing the earthwire. When it was installed it was stuck under the decking. Should i put some conduit round it? We do have rodents in the garden....

b) Those bricks look damp. The water used to flow from the decking towards the wall. Is there any substance i can use to waterproof them?
The paving slabs are ok as they drain away from the house but the numpty that put the decking had the water flowing towards the wall in places.

c) Will the water flow through the gravel towards the drainage gullies?

d) how do i get rid of the decking boards. Would a timber yard be interested?

thanks

a) has been answered elsewhere I notice.
b) No need to wp the wall if it no longer has water draining onto them
c) Not if the paving underneath is sloping away from the gullies, otherwise yes
d) A skip. Dont be tempted to burn them as they will (probably) have been treated and release nasty fumes when you burn them.
