I have a Potterton Lynx 2.It is about 10 years old, but still works very well. The only problem is the hammering or thumping noise coming from the 3 way Diverter valve.
It takes place when the CH in on and I use hot water at the same time. Nobody is able to solev this problem for me. It is very annoing. Could you help me, please.

It sounds like your 3 port valve is not assuming mid position i.e open to serve both your ch and dhw at the same time and needs replacing.
See if the pros think the same.
