I recently had a new ERA double locking nightlatch installed in my existing front door - but I am having a lot of trouble with it. It has two latches a large one and below it a smaller one, the smaller one keeps sticking, as though it is deadlocking itself, and you have to really slam the door to close it and it shakes the entire house. I have inspected it and cannot see what the reason is - everything seems to be lined up OK and the top latch works fine, but 50 percent of the time, the lower latch jams open in the deadlock position for no apparent reason. Someone said they had heard there is a manufacturing fault with this range. Anyone know anything about it?
