Hi,

Just fitting some internal door linings and doors, all going well unitl I went to fix the thin battons into the lining onto which the door shuts against (hope that makes sense!).

How much gap do I leave between the face of the door and the stop? Both the door face and the frame will be glossed so need to allow space for the paint, and obviouly want the door to be be flush on the inside and the latch to match up, but dont want to leave to much space so that the door can rattle.

thanks!

Anthony

if it ends up being painted?i usaually fold up a piece of used glass paper and slide it between the door and the stop and fix the stop.
