We have built quite a number of these and few are identical, but all use similar principals.
The roof is usually based upon a purlin-come-wallplate (say 6",7" or 8"x2") that is supported either by gallows, a brickwork or timber pillar or a solid wing of masonry.
The uppermost part of the roof is carried by a bearer plate (pole plate), secured to the wall with expanding bolts.
The ceiling is carried by the underside of the purlin and a 100mm x 50mm wall plate bolted to the wall, with joists between. The faux timber fascia can catch the outer edge of the soffit board with the plastic cap fascia wrapping around it.
The underside is usually finished with upvc hollow soffit boarding and downlights.
