I thought some of you may find this useful; if you spend over £50 at Screwfix Direct, you can get 5% off from now until Midday Monday 11th May 2009.

In order to get 5% discount;

1) Click here to visit Screwfix website.
2) Fill your basket as normal (to a value above £50 to qualify for the discount).
3) Enter your Unique Offer Code in the special instruction box when you reach the check order details screen. The saving will be deducted from your order total before your card is charged (it will not show on the checkout total or confirmation email).

Just FYI -- I tried this, and it didn't work. No 5% discount appeared either on the order, or on my bill.

Ah, but I spent £117! I would have saved...um...more than £5. That's enough for a large cappucino and a double chocolate muffin!
