Spreads been and gone, dried and painted with silk

Now, the mrs wanted a few pics hung, no problem, but I had a fair bit of plaster chip away from the hole

Now she has got some shelving with brackets that have a few mm around the edge of the fixing hole

Could anyone advise the best way to drill a sound hole with minimum damage

Very difficult to know Matt. Probably,, use a sharp drill bit and take it slowish,,, a lot of damage/chipping can be caused when taking the drill back out of the hole too if you're not careful.

Roughcaster.

May be useful to stick a bit of masking tape on and drill through it then peel it off after.
