wallpaper sizing

We have stripped the vinyl wallpaper off the walls, however, the sizing is still there. Can I paint over I? Do I need to take this off as well. We will paint the walls next! No more wallpaper!

It all depends on the age of your property. If its old then the plaster underneath the sizing may be in such a bad condition you will have to paper again. Id expect it was put up for a reason, possibly to hide something so id paint over it. This is of course assuming chunks of it was'nt ripped of with the paper
